With pending home sales down, and a triple-digit increase in active listings, Austin's real estate market is beginning to reach pre-COVID levels of normalcy. However, home prices are still up almost 20% from May 2021. While this is still considered a Seller’s market, Buyer’s are gaining more leverage now since the pandemic began in 2020.

Samsung Considers $200B Investment in Central Texas

According to the Austin American-Statesman, Samsung is weighing what could be the largest investment Central Texas has ever seen. It was announced that the potential plan includes building 11 chips making facilities in the Austin area which could create more than 10,000 jobs.
